Islam claims there is one God, and that his final messenger has come (Muhammad). Muslims believe in the authority of the Qur'an, which was spoken by Muhammad. They also believe in following the example of Muhammad, the final messenger, as set out in his biographies, the Hadith. Most Muslims also say that the Bible is authoritative, believing that God spoke through the early prophets and Jesus too.
